George Tristao worked his way to the top of the current standings with another solid finish last week and will lead the WRS Sprints into Keller Auto Speedway and hope to stop two tie winner, Hanford’s own Zane Blanchard. After a rough race last week, Chris Ennis and Blake Roberston will look to get to the front! Visalia’s Jess Mack is looking fast in the 71M and just missed a second win last week in Tulare.
The WRS Sprint events scheduled for 4/7 and 4/8 have been canceled due to weather. Next event Friday April 21st at Thunderbowl for the Peter Murphy Classic.
An exciting doubleheader this past weekend. Friday was an exciting night opening for the World of Outlaws at Keller Auto Speedway. Hanfords own Zane Blanchard drove a flawless race taking the victory followed by Jesse Mack and Cole Danell and Blake Robertson. In our first visit to Merced Speedway Jesse Mack made it 3 winners in 3 races for the WRS Sprints. Blake Robertson fought back from an early spin to snag second at the line over Tanner Boul. Rookie Grant Duinkerken rounded out the top 4 in just his third race in a sprint car. Next events are this Friday 4/7 at Kings and Saturday 4/8 at Thunderbowl Raceway with USAC CRA 410 Sprints.
Chris Ennis finished off opening night with a win at Kings Speedway. Cole Danell was chasing him all race and needed a late race caution to close the gap, but 19 straight green flag laps later Ennis was victorious. Top 4: Chris Ennis, Cole Danell, Zane Blanchard and Jared Faria. Next Race Friday with the World of Outlaws at Kings and Saturday at Merced Speedway
